The 1.3L is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Power is supplied by either a 137-hp 1.2-liter turbocharged engine or a 155-hp 1.3-liter turbocharged engine. The Encore GX is available in front-wheel and all-wheel drive both with three trim levels: Preferred, Select and Essence. Other rivals in the market are Kia Seltos, Mazda CX-30 and Hyundai Kona. In the premium luxury market of small SUVs, Encore GX is priced lower that some competitor such as the BMW X2 and Lexus UX. The Encore GX is a great value, with touches of luxury, an array of technology and safety features, this small SUV comes with generous cargo space and a folding flat passenger seat to carry larger items. Luxury-oriented touches abound that usually are reserved for cars costing much more.

All-wheel drive is available, but the Buick is less about off-roading and more about all-weather driving in comfort. It offers buyers an appealing blend of small size, luxury and SUV-like practicality. The Buick Encore GX competes with other small SUV/crossovers in the market. Refined style great fuel economy spacious for small SUV lots of standard features available all-wheel drive Model Value Odd again but not your father's Buick. The Buick Encore GX carries over with minimal changes for 2022. Take a look and consider Buick! You will not be disappointed. Great gas mileage so far and plenty of power.

Don't let the inline turbo 4 cylinder fool you. Has many luxury features without the price tag. Excellent interior trim in my opinion not overboard. Love the toggle lift up and push down gears on console. Had it on my last vehicle and truly missed. Love the high definition rear view mirror camera! Only option not offered is power folding side mirrors. Didn't feel living in Florida was necessary but is another featureĮverything is at eye level. Get ready to learn if this is your first technological featured vehicle. It has the whisper beige interior which I love. Just purchased this wonderful midnight moon blue Envision Avenir 3 weeks ago. The back seats offer ample amount of room for my two teenage sons.Īgain, I am very happy with the car and would purchase it again if I had to do it all over. I find the cargo space to be adequate for my needs and probably meets the needs of most people. I have trained myself to push the switch evertime I start the car. I appreciate that it has a switch to deactivate the auto stop/start feature, but wish it would not default to being on every time I start the car. The 10.2 inch HD screen is super clear and I like the fact that it is integrated into the dash unlike many other cars that have it sitting on top of the dash like an awkwardly placed tablet. The car has plenty of power and accelerates quickly. I find the soft leather seats to be very comfortable, even on long trips. No highway noise seeps through the cabin. It drives smoothly and comfortably and is very quiet.

I purchased an Avenir model 5 months ago (9/2022) and have nothing but praise for it. You also get more bells and whistles for thousands of dollars less. The interior is very posh and luxurious as well, with lots of soft touch padding. I test drove both and felt that both cars drove equally as well, but the Envision has a more elegant, streamlined shape. I was planning on buying the BMW X3 until I test rode the Buick Envision.
