Hey everyone, I've been using the Jack Sparrow Anki Deck as it's one of the most esteemed decks on this subreddit and I honestly have found it to be super effective in terms of content knowledge and retention. Otherwise, the new card number on the parent deck will limit how many new cards you’re able to see in your subdecks, because clicking on the parent deck and then “Study” will progress you through your news and reviews in the order that your subdecks are organized on screen. For example, if you want to see 10 new cards per subdeck each day, then your parent deck should be set for at least 70 new cards each day. Then add up all those together to get the total new cards each day, and set that as your new card limit in the parent deck Options. Once you decide how many new cards you want to see every day from each topic-specific sub deck, input that number into the Options for each sub deck. I can manually combine all subdecks into one deck by moving all cards of each deck through the browse window but that seems silly.Īm I missing something obvious here? I just want to study a pool of 100 cards from all subject decks per day, not ~15 new per individual deck separate from other topics.

I want to do 100 cards/day pulled/mixed from all 7 subdecks when I click a parent deck, isn't that how a parent deck is supposed to work? When I click study now on the parent deck for "Milesdown MCAT Decks", its only showing me behavioral cards but my daily count for new cards is decreasing evenly across all decks, and accumulating reviews in the behavioral deck only (since I'm only seeing behavioral cards when I click study now on the parent deck)

Milesdown parent deck says 0 total cards and when I click browse there is one behavioral card showing. Subdecks are there with individual totals and everything, did not touch them after downloading.
